Lymph Part 2

For the background and understanding what the heck “lymph is”, I hope you read over Lymph part 1! Now time for some practical ways to support our immune system.

Remember, we eliminate waste material via:

  • stool

  • breath

  • urine

  • sweat

So we want to make sure we are doing all of those daily, and one of those (ahem.. breathing) all the time!

Signs & Symptoms of Poor Lymphatic & Immune Function:

  • Skin irritation, rashes, hives, acne

  • Fatigue

  • Brain fog

  • IBS (-C, -D, & mixed)

  • IBD

  • Poor wound healing

  • Depression

  • Neurodegeneration (Alzheimer’s, fibromyalgia)

For this specific blog, I will be focusing solely on the external pressure our lymphatic vessels need. So, let’s discuss movement-based ways!

Specifics:

  1. The Big 6 by Dr. Perry Nickelston

  2. Rebounding

  3. Dry Brushing

  4. Lymphatic Massage

  5. Craniosacral care & chiropractic manipulation

  6. Castor oil

  7. Diaphragmatic + nasal breathing

But in general..

  1. MOVE your body!

  2. Stop holding your breath
